# What is ERP Connector?

Be.Smart ERP Connector is an add-on to Autodesk Vault Professional, allowing bi-directional communication between Autodesk Vault and ERP system.

Dynamic ERP values like stock inventory, purchased items, invoices, etc., can be accessed from Autodesk Vault, whereas design documentation can be accessed from the ERP system.&#x20;

Communication is based on SQL interfaces, and automatization is ensured by a Job Processor.
