Version 28.0.2

Released on 25th November 2022

For compatibility information of each P4V version with Autodesk Vault versions, visit the System Requirements page.

Known Issues

  • Some user accounts may experience random web license disconnecting. That may happen mostly after midnight. Manual reconnecting/restart of the licensing client is necessary.

  • A standalone licensing method may experience issues if a shared licensing folder is used.

  • The API key licensing method may experience issues if a shared licensing folder is used.

  • Inventor Model states are not supported.

We are working on fixes, and in the meantime, we recommend you test the behavior before deployment to the production environment.

Fixes

  • Corrected French translations included.

  • {0} (zero) symbols before some Pack And Go commands removed. (issue #1)

  • Changed button function to open the log folder (Publisher4VLT configuration window -> General -> Logging section).

  • Fix for view published files on the Published files tab under some specific conditions.

    • The issue was related to the publication to the Vault and only in the case of the existence of multiple files published for one source file when publishing using the InventorDrawingToAutoCAD and Inventor Raster modules.

New Features

  • Exported (published) files can be attached as a normal (non-visualization) attachments to the source file. (#3)

    • Available only for publishing from files (not items).

  • Code to run custom post-processes in Publisher4VLT has been implemented. (#7)

    • Previously, it was not possible to run the post-process set up in the configuration.

  • Support for automatic flat pattern creation prior to publishing to DXF in Inventor DXF configuration. (#16)

    • Additional settings tab in Inventor DXF configuration -> Flat Pattern setting -> Create Flat Pattern automatically (if it doesn't exists).

Some sheet-metal flat patterns may be orientation-dependent. During manual/automatic publishing, we cannot specify the orientation for the flat pattern unfolding! Always check the results or create the flat pattern manually in Inventor.

  • Inventor Drawing to AutoCAD configuration supports DXF (direct export of Inventor drawing to DXF). (#11)

  • Support for publishing to AutoCAD Mechanical 2021, 2022, 2023.

  • New button Open the folder on Published files tab to open the publishing location when publishing out of Vault.

  • Added link to online help (Tools - Publisher4VLT - Help).
