# What is Publisher4VLT?

Be.Smart Publisher4VLT is an add-on to Autodesk Vault Professional and, formerly, Vault Workgroup with a tight connection to [ERP Connector4VLT](https://help.arkance-systems.com/erpconnector4vlt/) for automatic or manual publishing of visualization files from the original 2D/3D documentation into (not exclusively) PDF, DXF, SAT, STEP, and bitmap images.

Files can be published from Autodesk Vault to local folders on a computer, to a shared folder, or the published files can be checked back into the Autodesk Vault.&#x20;
