# 2.4.9 Processes to run after publishing

After publishing can be run:&#x20;

* Custom applications or scrips
* Create own task in the Job Processor queue

### Custom application or script

To define which application or script should be running after publishing, click Add button. In the dialog, set path and name of the application or script. If the application supports the insertion of attributes, they can be written to the Application parameters section.

Parameters that relate to the published file can be added from the Internal parameters list and they are as follows:

### Create custom task in the Job Processor queue

To set up the creation of a custom task to be added to the queue after a successful publication, enter:&#x20;

* Task name&#x20;
* The processing priority on which the task is to be based
* Alternatively, enter your custom task parameters with values (greyed out parameters refer to the published file and are added to the job automatically).
